Regarding material applications, Hongkai Plastic Technology’s China 3-inch 76mm ID PE core tube utilizes high-performance ABS material, renowned for its exceptional impact resistance, heat tolerance, and processing properties. This material finds extensive use in electronics, electrical appliances, and the automotive industry. Simultaneously, to meet diverse application requirements, we have expanded our offerings to include PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and PE (polyethylene).


First is raw material preparation, selecting suitable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, such as SG-5 resin, which offers excellent processing properties and mechanical performance. Prepare plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers (e.g., calcium carbonate), and other additives. The selection of these raw materials directly impacts the performance and quality of the pipe. All raw materials should be procured from qualified suppliers and undergo quality inspection prior to storage to ensure compliance with production requirements. Next is batching. Weigh each raw material according to the product formulation, strictly controlling the ratio of each component to ensure the final product's performance. After batching, feed the materials into mixing equipment for thorough blending to ensure uniform distribution of all components. Then comes extrusion molding. The mixed material enters the extruder for shaping. Parameters such as extruder temperature, pressure, and screw speed must be adjusted according to different formulations. During extrusion, the material melts at high temperatures and passes through a die to form the initial shape of the pipe. The key to extrusion lies in controlling temperature and pressure to prevent thermal degradation of the material. This is followed by the cooling step: the extruded pipe must pass through a cooling system to solidify its shape. Cooling methods typically involve water or air cooling, with cooling time and temperature adjusted according to the pipe's thickness and material. The cooling process must ensure a smooth pipe surface free of bubbles and defects. Next comes drawing and setting: the pipe is pulled from the cooling tank via a drawing device and undergoes setting treatment to guarantee dimensional stability. Drawing speed should match extrusion speed to ensure proper stretching and setting effects. Finally, cutting: The cooled pipe enters the cutting stage, where it is cut to specified lengths. Cutting equipment requires regular maintenance to ensure cutting precision. After cutting, the pipe undergoes preliminary inspection to verify dimensional compliance with standards. 3-inch PE core tubes are suitable for use in the film core industry, commonly employed for winding PET optical films, laminated films, ITO films, lithium battery separators, and lithium battery aluminum-plastic composite film casings. In electronics, new energy, and related industries, these film materials require storage and transportation wound onto core tubes. The 3-inch PE core tube, with its high precision, high rigidity, and flat slitting characteristics, effectively prevents film damage and enhances film utilization rates.
